A figure eight skate trail built under the Gardiner Expressway near Fort York, sheltered from snow and lit at night. Skating is free and needs no reservation; skate rentals cost extra. It usually opens around mid to late December and runs into February or early March; check The Bentway's site for this winter's dates and hours.
