About
A restored historic rock garden built into a hillside south of the Stampede grounds, laid out from 1913 by William Reader, Calgary's parks superintendent, and now a National Historic Site. Stone paths, little bridges and benches wind through thousands of plants, with views over the Elbow River valley. Best from late spring to fall, open from dawn to dusk. Free, a City of Calgary park.
