About
The historic square where Samuel de Champlain built his first "abitation" in 1608; its outline is marked in grey on the ground near Notre-Dame-des-Victoires church. Restored stone houses from the New France era on the river side face brick buildings from the British period, making it one of the best places to see the city's French roots. A public square, free to visit at any time.
