Parc de l'Amérique-Latine and its Monuments, Simón Bolívar and More (Lower Town)
Outdoor
About
A small park in the Lower Town dedicated to Latin America, home to the Simón Bolívar monument (a 1983 gift from Venezuela for the bicentennial of his birth) and busts of figures such as José Martí, Juan Montalvo, Toussaint Louverture, Juana Azurduy, José Artigas, Miguel Grau and Juan Pablo Duarte. A quiet spot for a short history walk. Outdoors and free all year.
