About

A famous trompe l'oeil mural by Derek Besant from 1980, painted in epoxy on aluminum panels covering the back wall of the historic Gooderham Flatiron Building and facing Berczy Park. It plays with your eyes, appearing like a huge painted sheet draped over the wall. Part of the City of Toronto Public Art and Monuments Collection; free to see any time.
