About
Barrie's main beach, a long sandy shore on Kempenfelt Bay with a playground next to it, a short walk from downtown. Lifeguards are on duty in summer, and the rest of the year it is a lovely spot for a lakeside walk. The beach is free; nearby parking is paid unless you have a waterfront permit, and dogs are not allowed on the beach.
